Oil pump.

Anyone know the life span on a factory oil pump? I'm going to change the seal on the pan and I didn't know if I should change the pump while I'm at it. This is on a 200k motor as well.

I personally haven't had a pump fail as much as the oil pump shaft from the distributor fail.

My .02... If its jot broke, don't screw with it. Just clean it real good and it should be fine

Sounds good to me. Doesn't seem like a part to fail, I was just curious since I'll be down there anyway. Thanks for the suggestion.
