Making a rocker panel

Okay so I was bored in the garage and had some aluminum I made a piece to go over the ashtray got one hole drilled Lmk what u think I put a small rocker switch in it I am going to have one for fuel, ignition, and starter

2004 mach 1(totaled=() 93 mustang lx white
Gt40x heads,e 303 cam, Ford racing 1.6 roller rockers, cobra upper and lower intake, ram air intake, c&l bigger maf, 30lb injectors, Bbk fuel Pressure regulator, double roller timing chain,Bbk shorty headers & h-pipe,flowmasters cat back,chipped,t-5 swap king cobra clutch, 4.10 gears.

looks good...Pro 5.0 mag did something like that years ago on a fox project but they painted it to match. It's a good location for switches

Looks good, sometimes the best mods are the ones like that... you make them out of scraps in the garage and your own ingenuity.

I am debating on painting it black like the interior or maybe even polish that piece

I say black hammered paint. That's what I painted my custom radio delete and the texture of the paint very closely matched the dash. If you would lime to see pics let me know.
