transmissions

What is a good automatic and manual transmission for my 302, can I get opinions on both

T5 is a good manual and easy to find, with some 4.10 gears in the rearend, you'll fly through your power band

First person I've found that said anything good about the t5. I always thought it sucked and was weak. Then again, I guess if your everyday driving then it might be fine.

The T5 is perfect in the 250-325 HP range.

I'll be upgrading in the Spring, been very lucky so far. I'm torn between a TKO600, and an Astro Performance A5.

Oh, In that case forget the T5 lol. Why go auto, you get way more control with a manual. Just my 2cents

IMO, an auto is only worth having if you're gonna be bracket racing. Because its all about consistency.
