Restoring my fox

Bought this 87 gt back in april, 5.0 5 speed, completely stock minus the factory air box and most of the a/c system, for 1200. It ran ok but I knew it was going to need a rebuild soon. Had planned on just driving it on the weekends until winter when i would tear it down due to my ranger being stolen and wrecked i had no choice but to drive the mustang everyday which quickly took its toll on the 190k mile car. Now that i have another vehicle its time to start on the 5.0.

Spare block ready to go to the machine shop to be bored .030 over. Getting DSS Racing forged pistons, rings and bearings. The crank out of this block was already turned .020 under and i found a scratch on one of the journals so i dont think im going to mess with this one. Il take a look at the one thats in the motor in thats in the car when i get it out.
