$275 doesn't sound bad, but it's got that crappy paint all over it.

Haha, okay. I thought is splashes of paint. $275 is not bad. You may find one cheaper though.

Yeah the shipping makes it not worth it. Then your getting to the price range of better intakes.

Ha yeah $100 is almost too cheap. An explorer intake would be worth $100.

Exploder ones show up often on CL on the cheap. But you need to make sure it's the proper one with the EGR passage in it for the earlier 5.0.

An explorer intake is definitely the way to go on a budget. For ease of installation you should get one with the egr passage. If you're not worried about emissions you can get one out of a late 97-up explorer or mountaineer and delete the egr.

Hey I got a mildly, mostly "cleaned" up ported and polished explorer intake, upper and lower manifolds, 65mm bbk throttlebody and 65mm egr spacer and 1/2" (I think thats the size) spacer. And the intake has all the provisions for emmisions, for $200 plus shipping. Just a thought.

Idk if anyone else is, but I am very interested in that upper lower as in ready to buy. PM me where you are and I'll let you know where I am so we can set this sale up.
