Pros and cons of a carb?

My car is a 1987 gt with the 5.0. They have carb kits for them but I was wondering what the point of switching over is? Besides the simplicity of a carb compared to a efi.

I wouldnt do it. Their are people out there that will tell you carbed is the only way to go, but they are also generally the same folks that cant use a computer and hate on everything made after 1985. If you live somewhere where the weather changes alot you will be tuning a carb set up all the time. The only reason i could see for going carbed is if you currently dont have anything and your on a budget
