Just some questions :)

So, i work in a workshop that mostly works on 2005+ mustangs. And i like to think i know my way around mustangs as a whole. However. I own a 95 gt and live in dubai. So information is rare on such a car.

A.) Best CAI? Im leaning towards BBK's but am open to any suggestions.

B.) I hear the best way to make power on these cars is to change the stock cast iron ones. True? If so what heads?

C.) Anyone know of any websites where i could buy stock black interiors? Summit, AM etc cant seem to help.

Bbk cai is good. Heads depend on how much power your shooting for and what the car is going to be used for. Strip car? Street car? Little bit of both?

Car will be used as a street car. Aiming for 400-450 mark.
Any other options except the bbk?

Only cai iv used is the bbk. bbk is good stuff. 400+ will be difficult on a naturally aspirated 302 especially if you want 400hp at the wheels. 400 at the crank could be done fairly easily by stroking the 302 to a 331. Do a little research on trickflow twisted wedge heads and AFR heads. Im personally looking at the trickflow 170 heads. The design lets them flow like a 185cc head with a shorter runner and can be ported for even more air flow. Once you decide on a set of heads then you can start looking at intakes and cams to match them.

On your interior, CJ PONY PARTS and Late Model Restoration have the most up to date options. Depending on package size usually all ship free. I have and will continue to buy parts from both.

Ive heard some great things about trickflows wedge heads. I think my plan at the minute is to do the basics. CAI, UDP etc. First big step would be to convert to a manual trans. (Is it the T-51? Rings a bell but cant say i remember the model number). Then im thinking of stroking it, balancing the crank etc.Then ill get to heads. Trickflows just seem to stand out by a mile.
With regards to cams. All i can find is fords 303 series. Dosent bother me. I like the B303. Just means id need to change my rockers to 1.7 not the stock 1.6 and get some new pushrods. Out of curiosity though. Are there any cams where i can stick to a 1.6? Im after the rough idle, bit of street performance but nothing too 'over the edge'

E303 from ford racing is a mild cam. Works well and sounds mean. I had a ford mustang mechanic (only does work on foxbody mustangs) tell me that a direct bolt on head with good HP gains is the AFR heads. U can find them in LMR catalogs. He personally said he wouod put that head up against most others any day. Just a suggestion though

TrickFlow stage 1 cams are great with 1.6 or 1.7

+1 on the afr heads. 400hp is quite a bit on a pushrod 302 but I think with a big lunati cam, upper and lower intake, and the afr 185cc heads, it's doable.

With regards to upper and lower intake manifolds, whats on the market? Im big on cutting down weight and was able to find a polymer upper intake manifold from comp cams. My minds very set on that. But nothing really in sight for the lower manifold.

Box style intakes dont do well on street cars. The rpm range on it is 2k-6k. If it was a track car it would be fine but it wont have the low end torque it used to.

Fine by me if im honest. The problem with living in dubai is that modified cars quiet often wont pass registration. So it will end up being a track car eventually. If not. Ill sell that one on and buy another. No biggie. But again. Any reccomendations are helpful

At least get the gt40 lower, they make the polymer intakes for those as well if you are dead set on running that.

I must say that cj ponyparts takes forever to receive some parts. Sometimes it takes over a month to receive my complete order. Everything I order is always backorder. American muscle ftw!!! I just wish they had more resto parts, then I could stop dealing with cj`s bs!!! Lol

American muscle has been getting more restoration parts lately from what iv seen. Late model restoration has just about anything you will need also and they ship fairly quickly and for free
