wont start...new tranny

hi i got a 89lx 5.0 and my oil pump blew and the t5 tranny was on its way. i pulled the engine out replaced the pump and put in a aod with 2500 stall converter. i put everything back in and it wont crank. i checked the starter line and its hooked up and when i connected the two metal screws by hand it cranked so the starter is good. the harness on the bottom is connected to the oil pan and i left the o2 sensors unhooked and the other sensor which i dont know where it goes but doubt thats the problem. i hooked the aod sensor to the wires by the door and i think thats the right place? what could be the problemm??????

Re: wont start...new tranny

just solved the problem but now i got another problem. i was test driving it with the 2500 stall converter and the car doesnt move. it drives but very slow like the tranny isnt catching. then it goes and slips out or something. is my tranny ****ed up? or converter screwed? or what? i never filled the converter i just filled the tranny thinking it will fill the converter is this true??
