I have a 95 mustang GT that the water keeps boiling in the radiator and over flow, i replaced the coolant thermostat water pump and the temp switch, what could it be now? water level is fine but it keeps on boiling out of the over flow, and over heats dramatically then falls down to cool,
Does there seem to be any water vapor coming out of the exhaust? Did the problem start suddenly or seem to get worse slowly?
If it came on suddenly are you sure your radiator is clean. Did you ba ha through any dandelion fields lately? Or the worst possibility is a cracked head or bad head gasket.
Good luck but look for the obvious things first, even if the radiator is partly clogged with gunk you should get by on a cool day or at night if you take it easy. But , if it is completely covered with something get an air hose and blow it clean. The outside temp will not matter if the fins are covered with material or the head is bad.
The only real solution is an old-fashioned one but it works. Find one of those boat ramps at a lake, and drive your mustang in, but only submerge the hood. That should flood your engine with fluids and will not overheat for several days. Repeat as neccessary. Your blank stare is enough thanks.
