85mph to 140mph cluster

So im putting in a new speedo in my 87 fox gt and as long as i got the cluster out i was thinking of switching to a 140mph. my question is do i have to tune to speedo or will the new cluster do it for me ???? and yes this may be a dumb question but i had to ask thxxxxxxxx

it not calibrated from the factory for the 140mph it is for the 85. So yes you will have to get it calibrated

you will not need to calibrate it, it is not a digital deal, it is mechanical. i've been running one for years now, its right on the money. the gear in the tranny does the calibration for gear change.
