I have a 1984 mustang lx v6 with wireing prob will putting a new hornes fix it help please?

with the key off and out i hear something that sonds like a moter for like a window and a crackling sound and at night when im driveing my dash lites flicker and so do my head lites and it tris to run my battery down can any one help

Can be radio antenna motor, also can be your horn that would be a problem with your steering wheel horn switch you can pull the wire off of the horn to check.

You most likely may need a new light switch for your headlights for the flickering.

1 see your "guy"..your mechanic..you cant even tell us what the problem is? new hornes?? what does that mean???

Where is this electric motor sounds coming from ?? On the headlights, check the ground straps. There is one strap for each light assembly, & it is basically right behind the assembly. In older cars, the screws that hold the ground straps to the sheet metal tend to vibrate loose, plus the sheet metal around the screw can rust. On this noise, if you cannot pinpoint where it is coming from, start pulling each fuse in the sub circuit box under the drivers side dash board, until the noise stops. Then see what the circuit is & start trouble shooting from there.
