1986 mustang gt problems?

I was driving my mustang from a garage where it was sitting for awhile and it started up fine and ran fine for awhile then all of a sudden it died and I smelled a really bad rubber burning almost like a wire I have searched the engine and found no melted wires it turns over but won't start anyone have any ideas on where this wire may be or if there's any wire that could have melted preventing the car from running or if it's even a wire at all? Any info would help thanks

It turns over, so the power is okay..... If there was a monster fuel leak, you'd smell that .... So guess something ignition wise was loose enough to touch an exhaust manifold & fry .. Check the headers...
