The dash lights just went out in my 89 mustang gt as I was driving home from work
They were working perfectly fine and out of nowhere they shut off
My dome light works I tried wiggling the dimmer
All my lights work headlight tail lights blinkers hazards all my gauges work as wells hat can it be
Could be one of many issues. U know its def not the bulbs behind ur cluster for each individual light. So i wld first check your fuse panel. Also, check in that same area for relays. More than likely a great place to start would be your fuses
Cldnt tell u right off hand. Most r color coded and see through. What i did if u dont uave an owners manual to tell which 1 to go to first is to pull 1 at a time. Hold it up to light and u will be able to see if the metal strip inside is broken or burned out. If u find 1 that is, replace it. Always use the same size fuse. Never go up in #'s
