| Question about my gt??????!!!
Bought this car trying to figure what mgt stands for as anyone I've talked to we can't figure it out! Please help!!!

What I thought but I'm just curious if anyone has a clue for sure haha.
I checked vin it's a real gt car by decoding it... But the mgt threw me off!

Mine says that. I always thought it was monster-GT or manly-GT, but I guess mustang-GT makes sense.

Glad to have found out.. I was just curious this being my first fox... Pulled out and drove to get gas yesterday and guys were giving me compliments on how it sounds haha

| The people that have perfect, all original fox bodies with 10k miles on them are the same folks that bake cakes and dont eat them! I bought mine to rebuild it, play with it and then when i break something il do it over again.

| Haha yea they often do need work its not hard to find cheap ones that need work but have potential I might pick up another one here soon my brother is getting one 87 garaged whole life only summer driver old man original owner 60 000 miles (I think) for 5 grand in New York we live in Cali lol

| I found it on craigslist. You gotta be careful buying cars like these from people you dont know tho. Its easy to say its a rebuilt 306 when its really a stock 160k mile 302 that still runs good. People will say whatever they can think of to get a few more bucks. Not all but some. Iv seen plenty of GTs with cobra badges listed as GT/Cobra lol

How much y'all pay for one in ok shape? | It all depends on what you wanna spend and how much work do you want to do. i tried to keep my budget 3 ended up spending 3300 you can can find one for 1000 if you look but probably will need work. i say just try to find a good deal look what's for sale go out check some near you out you might get lucky and it took me a long time like half a year to find a decent deal that passed cali smog and ran well with minimal work and only 56000 miles the good ones priced cheap go fast you will notice. my area tends to have a lot of 5.0 not sure if its like that everywhere?

Yea best thing is test drive some I drove a lot that drove like **** or felt idk uncomfortable but mine felt like a different car then the rest it was perfect nice smooth ride seats not to worn. I say spend a lil extra on the car if its for your wife so its a little nicer and comfortable inside because all the little interior stuff adds up in $ just make sure you feel like your gettin a steal don't settle
