Cobra Intake

Im getting a good deal on a cobra upper and lower so just wanted to make sure my plans will work. I planning on a 70mm tb, 24# injectors and port the intake as well. Any suggestions (car is a daily driver with no serious mods) thanks

Your plans will definetly work! Nice setup. I would bolt up a set of 1.7 rr if you could swing it. $150 at LRS.

Also: you will need a MAF calibrated to your injectors. Try to pick up one that is at least 5mm bigger than your tb to create a "funnel" effect. :good

Doing a MAF swap before doing the other work is recommended for sure..

In all honesty you won't see any difference in the setup without upgrading to MAF. Your car will probably run worse. Speed density uses a preset table to determine A/F ratio and doesn't take advantage of any increase in intake air. Definitely get a MAF setup. You'd probably see a 20-30 rwhp increase with the new intake, tb, and MAF.

What does a MAF install require ive heard that you have to redo the whole front of the wiring harness?
