So..just for context. I had a victor jr intake I traded for a performer RPM (emissions related reasons). When I installed the intake I did cam, rockers, and heads too. I ended up with black smoke coming out when getting on it. It took me forever to realize that the performer intake did not come with a baffle to install on the bottom of the lower intake. Basically, every time I got on it, the PCV Valve was sucking oil from the lifter tray into the intake. I had no loss of power though like you may see with burnt rings. Just lots of black smoke. ---------- Post added at 12:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:57 PM ---------- Quote:

Between the intake and the lifter tray connected to the lower intake.
