Nice On3 kit. Make sure the fuel system you get is good enough to run it and crank it to 450rwhp. Tune is going to be critical especially with the finicky 94/95 computers.

Yeah I know. I bought the complete kit with fuel pump and injectors. Basically every option available I'm shooting for 450-475whp. That's one of the reasons I did the suspension first

Tune will need to be spot the hell on at that level, you're going to be pushing the safe limits of the stock block. I'd set it to 450 and be happy with it, any more and I'd be willing to bet you're going to have cap walk even if the motor lives for awhile at those levels. Nothing you can really do about it, just the nature of the beast.

I forget if you mentioned already but what are you doing for the trans? T-5 will live for about 5 minutes behind that... I'd actually suggest going automatic with a turbo.

After I blow it up. A tremec t-56 magnum will replace it. And if I do split the block. That'll be reason enough to get a dart 363 stroker with the boost turned up I'm going to run a manual boost controller to help keep what I have together for awhile tho

Get a 6060, that'll definitely hold the power.

The Magnum is the updated 6060. Still has the itty bitty synchro teeth tho.

The tuner that tunes cars around me gets stock blocks into the 600's and makes a ridiculous amount of passes on them and they stay fine. He's really good at what he does. Detention is the killer so fuel and ignition have to be perfect. I would still play it safe and just do a safe tune on it

Have you ever seen him tear one down and measure for cap walk? Just because it lasts a little while doesn't mean it's safe or reliable.

At those levels I guarantee there is cap walk going on. I have no idea why ppl invest all this $$$ into these motors on a stock block. Unless you are class restricted or something.

I was curious if you had got a chance to install the on3 kit yet? I have a 95 conv. that needs a little more power and have been looking into this kit. Any advice you could give would be great. Thanks.
