Is it fuel injected or carbed? 85 was carbed, unless with an auto tranny then CFI. 86 was EFI.

Forgot about that also. I think 85-86 had very little difference between them other than the FI and mandatory 3rd brake light.

If you give me your VIN # I can tell you everything you want to know. PLUS probably more.

That or the drivers door tag or certification label

Definitely is an 87-89 GT. 90+ all had the non-tilt airbag steering wheel. You sure the title says an '86?

It's an 88 almost positive maybe early 89 if its an 89 it more then likely be 25 Anv. And there would be a pon on dash Some are not but it looks like mine and 90 they did the other steering wheel I say 88

87-early 89. It has the 85mph speedometer so it cant be late 89. Also 87-88s, except California 88s, were speed density instead of mass air flow. But there is a good chance that even if it is an 87-88 it already been converted to mass air by a previous owner.

My '92 had the 25th anniv. pony on the dash. I could never figure out why or how that was ever there, but it never bothered me enough to replace it with a correct one hahal

Haha, yeah I agree. It came with it on there so I just dealt with it. When I was in HS I just assumed they celebrated the 25th anniv for a few more years. The car was definitely a '92, but the previous owner must have really loved the 25th anniv.

I just now looked at the picks and I think it is safe to say, someone got killed in your car, look at the stains on the seats! Blood every where!
