SN95 Problems...

So I have been rebuilding my car, I have alot of parts for the engine but I haven't put them on yet. My car had been sitting for a while, but I started driving it again about 3 days ago, it started with a little throttle and a few tries at turning the key, I was driving it and noticed my speedo gauge starting jumping around, not any other gauges, just the speedo. I hadn't replaced the alternator in over a year, so I replaced it and that fixed the speedo jumping, but while driving down the road my car died, I tried popping the clutch to get it to start while going down the road and it wouldn't start back up? I could turn the key and it sometimes would start. I got home and worked on it and I could get it to start, but as soon as I would give it any gas at all it would immediately turn off. After it would die, it wouldn't start back up for like 5 minutes. I am starting to think it isn't electrical. Any ideas?

I think that my car might have jumped time a little bit. I just took the car to my buddy and he said he thinks that it did jump time.

Turns out that it wasn't the timing because the car would try to start and it would run until you have it gas. My wiring harness for my injectors had melted somehow.
