93 GT Vert

Can anyone help me figure out how to take out the frame for the top. I need to replace the frame but I don't know what bolts to take out. Also is it hard replacing the top myself or do I have to have somebody to it for me. Thank you

Any luck? I have a vert and may have some free time once I get my clutch and tranny back in this weekend. I could take a look and see what I find.

From what I heard and from my research, replacing a top yourself is a pretty big job, lots of headaches, it's something id leave to the professionals

Check down about 5-10 threads. We were just chatting about it a day or 2 ago.

Success!! I did get the top in. There was a few headaches but I got through them. The only things is that the old top went down all the way, this new top only seems to go down to a certain point then stop. Is that because of how tall the hydralics area, or how big the top is??

Also, I had to replace my power steering pump due to a grinding noise. I installed a new pump and still have the same grinding noise. the instructions say that it will take about 200 miles for the noise to go away. I have never heard of the before, is this true. I also replaced the rack and pinion and all the hoses as well. Any suggestions

I know this is and OLD thread but I would imagine your top wan not going down all the way because the new top is still stiff and needs to break in. I need to do mine as well. I want to order a top and window from late model resto with the DVD. How hard was it to do. Any tips/pointers?
