Mid pipe questions

I have a 93 gt that and I was wondering what size the midpipe is on my car and if it would be practical to put an offroad pipe on between emissions and put on the stock pipe for emissions

Clean looking GT man, nice! The car probably has 2.25" pipes from the factory if it's still the factory midpipe. 2.5" is what most aftermarket midpipes are. You can find a 3" but 2.5" will be just fine and can be found at just about any Mustang parts warehouse you can imagine.

Once you swap midpipes the first time it gets pretty easy to do it after that. The first time always takes the longest when you're trying to figure out what tools, extensions, etc you need to get the job done. I think there are a ton of people on here who swap midpipes for their emissions testing. I think it is a very practical swap, nothing sounds better on a Mustang than an o/r midpipe. I highly suggest a MAC Prochamber but they are a little pricey. If not the Prochamber, definitely get an H w/ your pushrod 302!

Have full mac exhaust from headers (shorties) to mac prochamber on my Sn95 5.0 , I am switching out for magnaflow off road Xpipe and magnapack mufflers.. I like the growl from prochamber but with my t56 trasmission and the way the previous owner piped it, ive had enough.. Looking forward to installing new setup.. Will miss sound.
