5.0 rebuild

Planning on rebuilding the 5.0 in my 95 gt. The car is basically stock and I want to just do a plain Jane rebuild for now. I have aspirations for actually building it and adding a sc but for now I'm on a budget. This will be my first actual rebuild since I don't count the engine I tore down and reassembled in school years ago. So basically in just looking for any tips, links, help in general.

The best thing is knowing your torque settings for all your engine bolts. I would pick up the guide like a chiltons or other that will list them all for you as well as the torque sequences. It never hurts to take lots of pictures and label/organize everything on the tear down. This helps especially if you have some down time between the tear down and your rebuild.

That was what I was hoping to get some input on actually. I've looked at a few rebuild kits online but they range from 3 to 5 hundred bucks. When I get some time I'll have to look into more. But links are greatly appreciated.
