Rocker arms adjustment

I'm building a 302 for my mustang and this is my first engine build I've been told many ways to do this but I'm not quite sure and I don't want to do it wrong and bend a push rod, how do I adjust my rocker arms?

that depends on many things, are you running solid or hydrolic lifters? roller or flat tappet cam? have you measured for correct pushrod lenght?
