Gt40p?? Or what heads do i have

Hey everyone I just purchased a 90 lx mustang with a 306, tfs1, cam, hedmen shorty headers, also with gt40p upper lower intake and the precious owner also mentioned it had gt40p heads on but I'm not sure on that because it doesn't have the 4 bars in front and can't seem to find gt or gtp on them but I did find one bar in front of the head and tried to find casting number or something but found a # 9 or #6 upside down and that's all does anyone know if they are stock heads??

Hard to tell from the pics. You could tell bu how close the plug wire are from the headers if they're P heads...

its been a really long time ago... but I do believe the p heads have P stamped on them

and.. I almost forgot. the P's will only fit like 2 or 3 aftermarket headers.
most people use the FRPP's stainless GT40 shorties

They are not the p heads because the spark plug would be straight out from the head as opposed to yours which are angled out. Most likely these are not the gt40 heads at all if the are not marked or have 3 or 4 bars in them

Those aren't stock headers, you'd be able to notice the crimps and the tubes wouldn't be that big.

OP, this is my gt40p heads with regular headers. You may have gt40 heads, you need to look for the 3 vertical bars on the very front of the heads. If there are none then you have stock e7 heads.

Edit:

Bang

That would just say GT if they were regular GT40s. I'd call the seller up and thank him for being a shyster.
