Check all the vacuum lines on the lower intake and going to the TB. check the TB ,ICA , upper intake gasket.

Your power brake booster should also have a vacuum line into the intake manifold. if my memory is correct. check every vacuum line .also check the lower intake manifold for vacuum leaks. it this car still a speed density car without a MAF ?

Check the Map sensor. it will cause that kind of problem. how much has the car been modified. your system ECU will only allow a small window on increasing the HP on it.

disconnect the electrical connection from the MAP sensor.Should be a change in idle. if it is working correctly. if no change in idle that is your problem.

It's the valve that splits the air coming from the smog pump to the back of the heads or catalytic converters. It should have a vacuum line into the top of it. Check to make sure you don't have a leak there.

Most people delete the smog pump system anyway. I can still pass the sniffer without mine but you may be able to get one free from someone who is deleting their smog pump.
