I have a 88 302 carb motor. I am planning on running a b cam, I already have a mallory hyfire vi. My question is , what dist would be a good match for the roller cam and carb. I was looking at a mallory unilite , any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

I always thought mallory made pretty good stuff..

Anyway let me get this right, you need to change distributor in order to switch to a roller cam?

Well a roller cam uses a steel gear. I'm changing dist because of changing to carb. I just had to make sure that the dist has a gear compatible with a roller cam .. I'm going w the mallory , I'm with you on they have great stuff

Roller cam uses steel gear. I'm not switching for the cam, I'm switching for a carb conversion. I'm with you on the mallory stuff though .. That's what I'm going with
