Carb

I have a holley double pumper carb on my 88 but its running like ****. It bogs down wen i punch it so i think i need new jets and another pumper. Should i just get a new carb or rebuild this one? Also when i get in 4th around 3000rpm its starts to be real rough and the faster i go the rougher it gets so idk whats going on there. Tranny problems?

Is it truly a double pumper or just a normal 4 barrel carb? I'd its a double pumper then that is way too much carb.

I would get an edlebrock 650. Much easier carb to work with, plus automatic choke for those cold starts.
