If you squeeze the the two pieces that prop the window up it will pop right out. Its already made to come out.

The latch that you use to lift the sunroof has two chrome metal pieces. They are spring loaded so you may have to squeeze them tight. First, raise the sunroof like you have been doing. Next, look at what is propping the sunroof up; there should be two pieces of that lever that are holding it up. Finally, squeeze the two piece together and the sunroof should slide up and off. You will have to step outside the car to pull it off without dropping it on your roof. If all else fails, I am sure there is a youtube video of someone taking it off. I swear it not complicated at all man, if ya cant figure it out just pm me and ill talk ya through it. Btw yes it is made to be removed

This^. If it hasn't been removed in a while it may be hard to compress the two pieces.
