Door handle help - Mustang Evolution

Door handle help

Hey guys my outside door knob has broke, we pulled to hard to open the door and it snapped. Idk what to buy to fix it since I don't know much about about them. Any help?

Door handle. Lol. IIRC they are riveted in from the inside. Pull your door panel off and have a gander at it, should be pretty easy to see.

Sorry lol just yanking your chain, anyways like he said pull you door panel off and you should be able to see what happened, you probably need a rivet gun

Found this how to on the internets.

remove door panel
leave window up
remove latch rod
remove securing hardware (rivets/bolts) can't remember which
remove old handle
Install, reverse procedure.

You will need a rivet gun almost 100% sure and a good sharp drill bit to drill out the rivets that are already in there.

You WILL need a rivet gun and drill. Also BLACK rivets and they get put in from the outside. Pretty easy job just don't slip with the rivet gun when it pops the rivet - the gun might slip and scratch your paint. I plead the fifth. Lol
