Exhaust videos and setup

As many of you know we have a lot of exhaust threads. This thread is to help deter some of that and hopefully answer someone's question before they ask it.

Please only post a video of your exhaust and list the setup. Listing the cam and brands of the parts may also help as well since some brands sound different than others.

General exhaust info.

X vs H pipe.
The X pipe is raspier than the H pipe but produces more hp in the higher RPMs. The H has a deeper tone and a better low end. The hp and tq difference between them is negligible being only a couple hp different.

Headers.
Shorty headers are the easiest to install but provide the least amount of gain. You do not have to use a special mid pipe for these and can reuse your stock one.

Equal length headers take up more room than the shorties because the runners are the same length. They provide better gains over shorties but not quite as much as long tubes. They also allow you to use the factory mid pipe as well and are harder to install.

Long tubes will provide the best gain out of all three and will require a mid pipe designed for long tubes. *They are also the hardest to install.***

* Feel free to post any corrections or additions that I may need and I will fix this post as we go and delete them as to keep the thread clean.

Thanks- Jon.
