Rear end rebuild

So I decided in going to do a rear end re fresh, so I went ahead and bought a set of 31 spline usa alloy axles, a 31 spline Ford Racing limited slip, a Ford racing 3.73 gear and install kit, and lastly a 31 spline Ford racing aluminum driveshaft. Is there anthing else I will need for this install on my 94 Cobra? 3.73 install kit comes with gear oil.

Input is appriciated!

Yeah, return the 31 spline driveshaft because your T-5 uses a 28 spline output shaft.

The driveshaft bolts up to the rear end, no splines there. The splines are where it goes into the rear tailshaft of the tranny.

Is there any reason the spline count connecting the driveshaft to the tranny is 28, like the rear axles is 28? Is there any correlation between them both being 28 spline?

There is 0. The T-5 uses a 28 spline output shaft. The T-45 and the 3650 use the 31 spline output shaft.

Im getting it done this week! I got the USA ones on sale for 230 I believe. If not I would have gone with the Moser ones. I went with the ford racing diff cause it got awesome reviews. Plus its Ford racing, so I'd imagine it'd be pretty reliable. I'll let you know when it's done!
