Matte black hood 1990 gt

Would it be dumb or pretty sick if I painted my 1990 mustang gt hood matte black and leave the body red?

I think it might look ok. Try plasti dip on it first to see if you like it and if you don't you can just peel it off

That paint looks mint, dont even think about covering it up. Leave the plasti dip to the guys in the 2010-2014 gt section lol

My whole car is matte black ... Just be sure that your ready to take care of matte paint it can get annoying

+1 on plasti dip it peels off easy and doesnt harm the paint. I personally dont like an all black hood, if anything id do black race stripes

I think a pair of 3 inch wide dual hashmarks would look good on your car rather than the hood. For some reason im a fan of hashmarks, even though its a Vette thing..
