Monster miata

Hey guys me an my buddy are doing a monster miata swap an putting a 5.0 and a t5 running mass air an just wanted to know what you guys think on this painless wiring Harness from summit and just want to make sure but we can use a a9l or a9p for a standard right? Any help would be great thanks

No input on the harness, but that sounds sick!

1986 GT with the typical poor boy mods. 3.73s, Hurst short throw, King Cobra Clutch with aluminum quadrant, lowered two inches on Eibach springs, Hopefully adding some heads and a decent intake soon!

It should be sick haha an what do you mean no input? For the computer or to the wiring that goes throw the firewall?

No I mean, I have no idea on the harness, therefore I have no input for you lol.

You can use either CPU for a manual car and not sure about the harness but I remember seeing Muscle Mustang or 5.0 magazine use a painless harness and it was a nightmare from what they said.
It sounds like an awesome build though, post pictures when y'all start!

Thanks man I thought you could just forgot and do you know of any wiring harness that we could use that would make it easy to run the mass air we are try to stay away from using a carb I hate ****i*g with carbs haha

And I'll post pics here when we start my buddy got to sell two of his other cars so we can get the monster miata kit in an start getting the old 110hp 1.6l out haha I can't wait to see the car on a scale with the 5.0 an t5 I'm thinking it's going to be around 2300 to 2550lbs with all the stuff in

Both LateModelRestoration and MustangsUnlimited sell a mass air conversion for the per-maf cars!

Ye I'm looking for a harness that only runs the motor and doesn't hook up with the big clips that go in to the fire wall we can make one up from my old stuff I got sitting around but if he can just buy one then were good haha and the painless one looks like it would run just the motor an be easy to mod if we had to

Honestly, if I was you doing this swap, go with a carb. When they are tuned right, it's almost just as good as efi. And I can guarantee that you will save yourself soooooo many headaches.
