Summit racing ring and pinion kit

I'm trying to order the proper kit for my 95 gt..

Was about to order the CMB-14-0066 until i read in the application notes : fits with 31 spline axle conversion only.

Have a t-56 tranny and aluminum drive shaft that was already on the car.

Will this kit work?

Stock rear end in a 95 is 28 spline.

Definitely 28 spline if its the stock rear end and diff. Why go with the Summit ring and pinion over the FRPP gears? FRPP is already cheap.
