Listen for ticking valves, slipping transmission if auto, worn/weak slipping clutch if manual, I heard fox bodies have torque box issues if a fox enthusiast would like to chime in, and on a straight road hit the beaks and take your hand off the wheel if it pulls to one side than you my need to get new brakes right away. Also check all the fluids and be sure they have no debree on he dip stick and are at the proper level.

How much? You don't see many bone stock fox bodies around. Very few cars cooler IMO than a clean, stock fox.

Torque boxes are a weak point, but should only be cracked if the car has been driven like hell, launching at lights etc. check for leaks from tranny and motor, rear mains are notorious. For that much $ it should be clean in and out, just minor things. See if it has any upgrades.

Looks good. If he was only owner it was probably well taken care of. I don't like front or rear lights, but to each his own. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Is that a 5.0? I'm looking on my phone, but I don't see any badging or dual exhaust. I could be missing it though

Im not super big on them but I have the same taillights. My father inlaw gave them to me for nothing. He picked them up at a swap meet. But they are tinted. If you tint them to take away some of the bling they will look alot better imo.

A 93 would be mass air. The 87 is speed density. Only important if you plan on nodding it. The tilt wheel is nicer than the airbag wheels.

Definitly put a battery in it and see how it runs.

Nice! I would definitely suggest like 5.slow said, make sure it starts and runs for a bit to get up to temp before you purchase for that price.

I know the previous owner we're good friends.. He's got 5 other foxes.. Trust me it runs and drives well.

The only major diff is as stated, mass air over speed density. 93 being a little newer may have fewer mileage, possibly better shape, but yeah looks good.

I have the same tail lights lol. Don't let them face the sun too much. They turn pink. Nice clean car tho. Convert it to mass air. It's easy. And still looks stock. I don't know about that one but I'm gonna bet the stock exhaust is prob rotten. Both my 88's exhaust pretty well fell off when I got them 2&4 years ago. Exhaust is cheap and worth it.
