Odometer Counts to fast

So my odo counts about 1000 miles for every 100 the weird thing is that the trip meter works fine... So what could this be and is there a solution?

A rear end swap could affect ur odometer but I'm not sure about it affecting it that much.

My odometer only goes up to 99, 999 miles. If yours is the same, which im assuming it is then it is correct? Your reading 10th miles like I suggested. The last 8 is in the .1 or 10th mile spot..

Precisely. Or possibly even 213k depending on how many times it rolled over.

Post a pic of your odometer with speedo and trip counter included, drive one hundred miles and take another pic. Post both on here so we can see. Every stock fox mustang Odometer I've seen only reads to 99k miles, once it hits 100k the odometer reads 00,000.

Did the car have a different trans in it from the factory or any mods done to it?

What dont you guys get? The last number is fraction of a mile. .1
The speedo only reads up to 99, 999.1 you see the .1 ? That means one tenth of a mile... your speepo is functuoning exactly how it should! Nothing is wrong with your trans. Nothing is wrong with anything!
