AC Conversion

Do you need to buy the ac conversion kit to convert a old ac unit to R-134 or can you just change the hoses over? The kit runs 750.00!

No... U can just buy new size nipples and orings and drain it all the way....but it still won't be very cold like a new unit...it will b cold but on the gas ull loose a lot of chill...
