Rear end

I have a maybe dumb question. I have a 91 gt and it has 28 spline rear end I believe. My diffrential is going out and I'm looking into the ford racing 28 spline carbon disced LSD. Can I put a 31 spline in with my 28 rear axles?

Yep. But you'll need 31 spline axles for a 31 spline LSD.

I'd just get the Eaton 31 spline unit and some 31 spline axles.

Auburn is a good one too, that is the one with the cone style clutches IIRC. Eaton has a disc style and can be rebuilt. I had an Auburn at one point though, was a great unit. However an OEM diff with the extra clutch mod is a very solid diff and will last a long time unless you are running a good amount of power and are on slicks.

Actually I'm wrong. My bad, it's called Yukon. I'd upgrade to 31 spline but I'm on a budget.
