Blocks

What year 351w were roller motors. I've been looking for a budget 302 roller block, but can't find one, I did see a 351 on CL, but how do I know if it was a roller?

Any 94-up block is a roller ready block. Code will be f4-up. F is the decade of the 90s and the 4 is 1994. So f6 is a 1996 etc...

Scotty, I know you like a 351 over the 302 for a lot of builds. If I'm doing a 400 hp/400 tq dd, would u still recommend the 351? And why?

Also, what kind of cost diff would I be looking at?

From scratch the cost difference will be minimal. 400/400 is way easier to hit with a mild 351 build and it will have a ton more low end.
