Wheel Sizes?

Hey everyone. I have a few questions, anyone that can help me out, please do.

First off, I definitely want to make sure I put the correct size tire on the correct size wheels and don't want any steering issues. Keeping this in mind my questions are as follows:

1. What are the biggest wheels I can put on my 94 GT and what tires would fit it?
2. What rims and tires do you all have?
3. Where would you suggest buying wheels and tires?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can probably put 18s on there without any issue. My buddy is running 18x10 in the rear, and 18x9 in the front on his sn95. American muscle has decent deals on wheels and tires.

1986 GT with the typical poor boy mods. 3.73s, Hurst short throw, King Cobra Clutch with aluminum quadrant, lowered two inches on Eibach springs, Hopefully adding some heads and a decent intake soon!

Similar question.

I recently did a 5 lug and break conversion on my 89 GT. I am looking at using 18 in wheels (fr500, maybe 2003 cobra or a saleen wheel). What is the correct backspacing and tire sizes I should use? Looking at 18/9, 18/10 setup.

I am new to the forum so I hope I did this correctly. HaHa
