Cooling fans?

I have a set of dual 1400cfm fans they have 2 wires with a T connector my stock fan has 3 wires with a rectangle connector . Do I need to run wiring with a fan switch now ?

I think the three wires should be a ground a power from the temp switch and a power from the ac you should be able to wire into the temp switch wire onto those fans and they should kick on like factory fans
