Unhappy Fuel pump issue

???? Could use some help if anyone knows what to do when the electric fuel pump will not shut off tried to cycle it a few times but won't stop running even when the keys are out of the ignition.

Pull the fuse? Atleast until you figure out why and fix it

that sounds like your ignition is still getting power. Chances are something fused.

Hadthe same problem not to long ago. I changed my fuel pump relay switch and it fixed the problem.

I was guessing the relay after looking at the chitons manual but haven't had enough time to locate the relay on an 87 yet hope that's it when ever I find it

Well changed the relay and the new one got hot and kept the pump running so put the old one back on and it's working fine now guess ill check the ground out and get another relay ??? I hate electrical issues
