How to disable daytime running lights 1994-04 convertible

I finally figured out how to disable the daytime running lights or "drl's" on a convertible 94. The module is in front of the drivers side front wheel well. Cut the green wire with the black tracer or "line" on it. And bam the drl's are gone an your top will still work. Nobody seemed to be able to help me with this so I Hope this helps someone.

mines from Canada and it has been the law there for sometime that all cars have to have daytime's. i have searched all over the internet for a way to disable them on a 94-04 convertible to no avail. any way they are a huge waste, look bad, waste the bulb life because they use the low beam!

The fuse also controls the horn, air bag, convertible top. The only way is to cut the green wire on the module

My Lincoln has the day time ruining lights rust stay on unless I adjust the knob to regular or off. Try adjust the knob unless you have already ruled that way out. Even the newer cars have the option of turning off the day running lights
