Looking for your 2 cents

Ive been researching engines to replace my oem 95 Gt..
Im looking to have in the 450 hp rwhp.
Dont care if im boosted or not.
Looking to have a good reliable weekend/track car.
Has maximum motorsport suspension and a t-56 tranny.
Old engine has brand new Msd Pro billet ignition + 6Al2 box installed last year
Brand new bbk Cai + maf (last year install)

Not sure what to buy or what to do with my old gear.

What would you buy for a new setup?
Efi / carb?
Turn key?
Standalone computer?

Any opinion is appreciated

If it were me I would do all the work myself. That being said what is you budget? What are you looking to do from a mechanical perspective? Some will say get a stock shortblock and throw a supercharger on the bad boy.

8.5. Gs total. Canadian.
Limited to time to work on car, limited to working space and mechanic tools.
I like boost but not when its gonna be a problem down the road.

Properly done, it will never cause u problems. Not that u won't have normal wear and tear. It won't be too hard to reach ur goal. The proper setup will take u past that goal easily.

Been doing some reading on this guy. Amazing what he does. The investment is so worth it. If I had a car that called for it and I had the funds, 100% the way I would go.

Anyone will ship to Canada. It's once it hits the border. Me ad a buddy ordered two level 10 blocks and forged rotating assemblies. We had to pay like $600 between duty and broker fees. Was retarded. If I had to do it again I would have used somewhere like Miller engine building in Morden/Winkler, Manitoba., or The Mustang Shop in Calgary Alberta because it would have worked out to the same price, maybe a bit cheaper even. I ordered my cam direct from AFM too. Paid an extra $150 on it. Duty and broker fees again. Next order I'm personally using The Mustang Shop.

If you are anywhere near the US border I'm pretty sure you can set up a shipping address in the USA and just drive across, grab the stuff and then drive back.
