94-95 GT MAF question

Is the maf from a 94-95 v6 the same as the 94-95 gt?
As far as I can tell the part numbers are the same..

The only difference I can see is I think the v6 are for a 70mm housing, and the gt have a 80mm housing.

I have a 95 v6 maf in my gt right now but it was originally in a 70mm housing and I have it in a 80mm housing, should that matter? Its the A1A maf that's talked about for the fox and sn junkyard finds..

All the 94/95 cars have a 70mm MAF, there is no 80mm MAF on them, not sure where you heard that.

The housing I have is bigger than the v6 stangs. Like enough to fit the v6 one inside the one I have.
The previous owner may have swapped the housing at an earlier time. May also have been why he went thru 4 mafs and couldn't get the right one. I tracked down an A1A and put it in.
