5 lug conversion

Hey guys I'm trying to to do the 5 lug conversion on my 87 fox. I was able to do the front no problem, but I'm having a hard time removing the axle shafts on the rear axle. Any info will be helpful. Thanks.

You need to unbolt the pin in the middle of the diff and slide it out just enough to let the axles slide inward to get the c-clips off. Dont slide the pin out too far or the spider gears will come out and they are a pain to get back in.

10mm socket should work on the bolt that holds the pin.

It will be on the front of the chunk on the driver side. You will need a 3/8 ratchet and extension to get it out.
