So I stopped to get gas and the temp gauge was perfect right inbetween the lines. Sitting right below the letter R on NORMAL. After I filled up the tank and turned the car back on the guage was reading right above the N. I checked the engine and it was fine then I drove it on the highway for an hour. What do I do? What could it be? Any help would be appreciated thanks

The stock gages suck. Get a good temp gauge is what i would do. One of my old fox bodys did same thing. Every time i would stop somewhere for a min it would go to the n for a min amd then back to normal. The stick gages are terrible
