Spend the extra 30-40 bucks and get a lunati..
Internals especially, its better to get a known and trusted maker.. I wouldn't screw with a cam of unknown origin.

I wouldn't consider Elgin an unknown brand. With 90+ years of experience Elgin Industries has been one of the automotive industry’s premier manufacturers of both engine and chassis components. Elgin produces a wide range of parts for both OEM and aftermarket applications.

Elgin has one of the best priced Cams, that is proven to show great results. You'll pick up a good amount of power in the mid range of your 5.0 with this set up!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

Makes two of us! I've heard of many others like isky and some smaller custom guys but this is the first I've heard of the Elgin. Learn something new all the time!

If you have stock heads you won't gain a damn thing. Leave the stock cam alone until you do the heads.
