T5 change

Just got a 91 and I think the tranny might be giving out 2nd will grind some times and it whines any ideas?? It's a wc Borg Warner with a beafed up clutch not much details from previous owner

You could try changing the fluid and adjusting your clutch but sounds likes its on the way out. You can find a good used one for $400 or under so I'd just find one and swap it. 2 buddies with a lift can do a trans in an afternoon real easy.

I did it also had a leak...still has a leak...I just put it back together I was hoping there was something else but I figured that was the case. Thanks man

Sounds like you're low on fluid...tranny might still be good if you add fluid...if you're just grinding sometimes you can have it refurbished for $400 instead of getting a used 1 that might have problems too....change fluid 1st and don't forget the additive ford puts in....check your clutch cable might need adjustment...
