My ever surprising project

Long story short I found my motor is bored .040 over when there was "NO" motor work done lol stupid ppl!!!
Also written on my crank is "r-10 m-10 Edgar" (see pic)
What does this mean? Is it good bad??? Any info would be great thanks

I'm wondering if they are just company markings... Part of a rebuild. Since you're engine had been rebuild and bored, usually the shop will check all components being reused. This is probably there own system of showing who did the work... Edgar, and the m and r may have something to do with the checking/ milling.
